Hm
Hm?
@InsaneCaterpilla @Deleted User I personally think don't worry about greetings and suchlike. It's mainly when people debate that the issues happen and the movement gets divided. Same with politics and so on.
@Evildl17 Hello Evil! You wouldn't happen to be one of the people I invited, would you?
Did you guys see that article about the hub infected woman that slept with a boy? And didn't disclose her hiv?
Wow, that’s disturbing. No, I did not.
@Men Are Human oh ok. Well I don’t bring religion into it I just want to raise awareness to how men are treated in the western world
Well tomorrow I have to call my doctor
@Men Are Human what you up to today mate?
@Men Are Human yeah i am. I wrote the piece on how MRAs were reacting to "modest proposals" in the abortion debates.
@Evildl17 i didnt see that, was it on the sub?
Hmm... The thing is I think it's fair cause men have no choice at all. I don't think it's right, it's just that if men have no choice then why do women?
Reddit yeah
It's a debate worthy to be had
It wasn't about abortion per say, more about how some people were reacting to "satire"where proposed legislation limited mens reproductive rights.
Or in short, people were taking a obvious fake scenario and trying to react like it was real.
But ideally its a test piece for how we can get rid of bad arguments we make in favor of better ones that allow for more meaningful dialogue with opponents.
Other ideas i would want to do is tackling things like "imagine if this were a woman/man" and other arguments that go nowhere.
@Evildl17 Oh cool. I thought it might be you! What topics do you think you might cover in future ones? I would really like to host your work as articles under a new meta tag. I think they are very worth reading and very unique.
hi
is the gender pay gap a lie or truth? mum thinks its truth
@Men Are Human I just wrote a draft about MeToo and the use of the term false accusation
It depends on the definition. There is a difference in the amount men and women earn. But there is no evidence that people earn less for the same job. @oakhearted
Under the same circumstances
@oakhearted its not true.
@Evildl17 That sounds like it'll be a good read.
@oakhearted Men work most full time jobs, women work most part time. Women tend to want more personal time for family, work shorter hours, take easier jobs, and rarely take dangerous jobs.
None of this is taken into account when calculating the pay gap. They actually compare brain surgeons (mostly male) and CEOs (mostly old men who joined the company as young men) to talking-therapy counselors (mostly female).
