unless u want to create a new identity every so often
got a friend to tag my current mac id to a gps cord....once in a while it lists it as nsa, or dod, or my city's city hall
right now it's about 2-4miles from where i'm typing from
changes every so often ...thats all i know
If you paired it with your phone it should still have it?? Just thinkin aloud
i never paired it with a phone...apparently u can pair it with a virtual phone that has a fictional gps
Router info might have a list of devices previously connected if u have home wifi router
router supports 10 devices....and i purged the connections few yrs ago when too many ppl snuck onto my wifi(i capped the wifi to 1/2 meg per user)
and changed the name and pw for access to it
Email headers? Dunno much about them...
and my isp is wondering why i don't upgrade my router
i eventually disabled the wifi
made it only hardline connections only
new os, new registery
clean install for new mobo
every time i build or rebuild a system...i do a clean everything so i know it's running smooth..i keep a list of my preferred apps and plugins on a spare usb stick with the apps ready to install
been building pc's for at least 20-30yrs now
Im sorry but ive always been able to just log back into steam via my email address when i build a new pc with a new mobo
Ive never had that problem
anyway..current mobo doesn't allow for internet installs of bios updates so i have to dl it separately and install via usb stick thru dedicated port
bleezer, steam hates me
Ya it seems so lol
anyway...the system of installing bios updates via internet had a serious flaw...it could be hacked
Oh bios updates fcked you
Yaaaa that can happen
so most good mobo makers went back to the tried and true method of dl bios update then install via usb stick
while machine was off internet
u know something is screwy when ur bios menu has it's own web browser
and that was before info leaked about the backdoor into nearly all cpu types came out
when u see ur cpu temps spike and according to ur task manager that ur cpu usage is low...u know somebody else is using ur cpu
without the os knowing it
or ur cooler is dirty and needs cleaning
which is my current problem..i need to clean the cooler
good cleaning normally clears up that thermal spiking when u know ur pc is mostly safe from stealthy backdoors
btw, few months ago my bro tried to network to my pc...tried via router, tried via usb networking...couldn't connect
it wasn't the software..nor his hardware...it was my mobo
or my os...who knows..
i do know i disabled a few features from my win 10 to make it run smoother
