there is no faith/religion
scientology's view on religion = there probably is a god, but it does not matter
their status as a church is entirely the result of their efforts to achieve tax exempt status
all i know is they're weird ..they created a faith/religion based upon a scifi novel..
again it is not a faith as such
it presents itself as an alternative to psychology
well they are the most recent example of exploiting 'religious protective status' for tax exempt reasons
they don't worship any gods, they just have their guru l ron hubbard
who was always right about everything and beyond questioning
and if he contrdicts himself it's because you don't understand the words
but he is just a human being...
scientology is all about 'the tech'
they claim that practicing it will enhance you in every way and ultimately give you super powers
when actually the practice is basically you conditioning yourself
when they come up with new techniques the scilons test it out on their flock
i happen to knowquite a bit about scientology
i participated in the protests in 08 and researched a lot of it during that year
anyhoo the religious technology center is all about archiving all the writings of l ron hubbard
who happens to be the most prolific author in history
