There are reasons for that

2019-10-07 11:59:14 UTC

Why meat tastes great and doesnt need all kinds of dressings, sauces and spices

2019-10-07 11:59:26 UTC

But a salad does

2019-10-07 11:59:27 UTC

I mean... I like salt and a white wine pan sauce.

2019-10-07 11:59:58 UTC

If you want to be fancy, cool, but you can even eat a steak raw and be cool

2019-10-07 12:00:08 UTC

But, yeah, even just boring, plain old meat is the bee's knees.

2019-10-07 12:00:41 UTC

At least, compared to leaves or plant genitals.

2019-10-07 12:00:53 UTC

Lol, plant genitals

2019-10-07 12:00:54 UTC

Try eating a potato without salt.

2019-10-07 12:01:06 UTC

Eat a green potato and it kills you

2019-10-07 12:01:15 UTC

I love meat. Fuck going vegan. When they can actually make real meat without any slaughter, i'll think about it. Until then, nope.
Lmfao, plant genitals.

2019-10-07 12:01:31 UTC

Man, the slaughter makes the meat!

2019-10-07 12:01:35 UTC

I've eaten a couple green potatoes before Greta, i didn't die..?

2019-10-07 12:01:36 UTC

Try a potato from MB

2019-10-07 12:01:42 UTC

These fuckers act like we don't treat animals well.

2019-10-07 12:02:03 UTC

Industrial garbage feed lots aside, humans love their livestock.

2019-10-07 12:02:09 UTC

Those animals wouldn’t exist otherwise

2019-10-07 12:02:11 UTC

But then again, i wouldn't do it again. It definitely tanked my health a bit, but i recovered.

2019-10-07 12:02:34 UTC

I am against factory farming, but traditional animal agriculture is both more humane and accretive to the environment than feedlot bullshit.

2019-10-07 12:02:35 UTC

The best meat comes from the happiest animals.

2019-10-07 12:02:48 UTC

Doesn't make sense to stress them tf out just before slaughter.

2019-10-07 12:02:57 UTC

It's why hunters always try for the cleanest kills.

2019-10-07 12:03:42 UTC

Hell, even Temple Grandin figured out that we're going to eat meat, we might as well figure out how to make those grass-to-steak conversion engines run as smoothly as possible.

2019-10-07 12:03:57 UTC

And yeah that is true about traditional farming lives stalk, but if i had the option to eat a prime steak that's tasty and the same but made in a lab? And it's cheaper? You bet i would go for it.

2019-10-07 12:04:25 UTC

Meh, I have reservations on that.

2019-10-07 12:04:42 UTC

Vegans adulterate the meat with their protests too

2019-10-07 12:04:50 UTC

I won't be cheaper.

2019-10-07 12:05:01 UTC

Cattle can literally restore deserts.

2019-10-07 12:05:06 UTC

Yeah

2019-10-07 12:05:38 UTC

We could rename it the Sahara grassland if we can get them Africans to move it into there

2019-10-07 12:05:42 UTC

Eh, i do to. But when the tech gets that good, i can't deny it.
You are probably correct on that Xychotic, i don't have my hopes up for that scenario. But who knows, weirder stuff has happened in human history.

2019-10-07 12:05:50 UTC

Then I would be out of a job.

2019-10-07 12:06:01 UTC

There's a shitload of capital going into developing meat alternatives and it's just as easy as moving the cattle properly.

2019-10-07 12:06:27 UTC

Enjoy tf out of this.

2019-10-07 12:06:41 UTC

I recall seeing this talk

2019-10-07 12:06:43 UTC

Seriously. Homedude changed my whole perspective on global farming in 22 minutes.

2019-10-07 12:06:58 UTC

Anyway, work to do.

2019-10-07 12:07:20 UTC

Yep, but i ain't talking about soy based veggie burgers or the like. I mean real tissue harvesting/growing. It's doable, but difficult at present.

But farming animals has a great and vital purpose in agriculture. Obviously.

2019-10-07 12:07:50 UTC

Its like that guy that figured at 16 how to remove plastic from the ocean and nobody cares, meanwhile I am getting the nobel prize for glorified tantrum throwing. Somebody memed that here, i think.

2019-10-07 12:08:45 UTC

We already got the tech, but people are too damned mentally ill to see that it is better than making people feel like they are doing something.
