boy o boy i have a fucked up meme for that situation, but i can't post it D,:
I ask because I'm essentially a traditionalist in a way, but I don't believe in marriage the way our modern society has it set up so I'm wondering if there's a work around.
that's a rough one
Exactly
tbh even if you don't marry, and shit goes south she will end up with the kids, if you do marry and shit goes south she gets the kids and your shit
Exactly
lol get a nanny
That's what I'm thinking
Haha
Either way, the laws screw me for being a man and naturally wanting to be with a woman.
yep
women more or less covered all bases to make sure they have the power
because this is their hussle, it's the only thing that they do
that being said, were men, and where there's a will there's a way
Well, I guess I'm a traditionalist, but practically a mgtow in that I will not marry under our current laws. I do think there has to be a way to have a real marriage in where I am the head of the house, but the laws make that near impossible.
not near impossible, it is impossible
You're right
@poizon how old are you?
22
You going to college?
if you can work from around the world, you could try moving to a Mideastern country where the laws are somewhat better
but
that has it's own set of issues
Yeah. I'm screwed either way honestly. Even if I take a wife into the woods away from the degeneracy of modern life, there's always the gun of common law marriage and biased family courts at my head.
yup
Damn xD
I guess I'll just have to accept the fact that marriage in the real sense is impossible and plan my life accordingly.
@poizon you going to college? If you are what’s your major
I graduated already and have a stable job, so I've got that covered.
Nice
Yeah dude, marriage is a scam
Don’t get married
At this point, I'm just thinking ahead and wondering what I'll do about relationships with women. I won't marry.
But I do desire a trad lifestyle in a respect, which is impossible.
But other times I see myself as above it all. I mean, what do a wife and kids really bring you?
A sense of fulfilment. Fulfilling your natural role.
The testing of your will, worldview, etc.
Meh, I'll figure it out. I at least know what not to do.
I already know I’m NOT a family man. I like my space and my own time. I used to fantasize about getting married and starting a family but in today’s day and age that fantasy can turn into a nightmare
I value family a lot and I can imagine myself happy or unhappy in either scenario. I mean, if I'm unhappy alone, I can always change that, but if I'm unhappy with a woman, that can be hard to fix
I agree
