I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe “the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews,” down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.
But Foxman said he is proud of the accomplishments of American Jews. “I think Jews are disproportionately represented in the creative industry. They’re disproportionate as lawyers and probably medicine here as well,” he said. He argues that this does not mean that Jews make pro-Jewish movies any more than they do pro-Jewish surgery. Though other countries, I’ve noticed, aren’t so big on circumcision.

I've come at a moral crossroads. I can't determine if I should be an individualist or statist. I was born lower middle class and freedom allowed me to generate wealth for myself. However, now that I am in the upper class, statism seems more beneficial to me.
class mobility isnt really something thats a product of individualism
you can have a strong middleclass and good class mobility by having a comprehensive tax and welfare system
The real dilemma is if class loyalty is really something that is worth while

like aristocracies were loyal to their families and ancestral connections
but class loyalty was never much a thing
the common layman was always more loyal to religion, state or ethnicity rather than class too
what you should be asking yourself is if the people that are encompassed by the state you live under are more deserving than your individual profit from what im reading.

No, I don't think the average californian is worth to me as much as individual profit is
and on federal policies, what do you think?
Most of my thinking is based on what would benefit me economically, so I've been more open to illegal immigration, but other than that I'm pretty conservative.
My main thing is less taxes.
im for simplifying taxation personally
like a high flat tax at 40% with a high exemption rate at lets say 25k with 50k for married couples
and a 8k exemption for every under 18 dependent
i see no reason to have the poor who are already tax negatives to give money just so the state returns it in kind
the majority of tax revenue is produced by the 80th percentile anyways
