I've gone full round and back to the Wii tbh. The PS3 and the Xbox 360 weren't as concerned with the magic that gaming can bring. Nintendo knows how to make something that feels like childhood

The difference too with Nintendo is that it focused on bringing people joy and laughter, whereas other consoles had games like Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (eventually) The Last of Us, and Halo as their flagship games. All are masterpieces, but Nintendo tapped in on people's desire to smile

There's a part of me that likes mind challenging things, but at the end of the day, there's something to be said for something that is made with love and passion. Overly focusing on numbers and equations feels so hollow, as does overanalyzing things.

I do value people who are the opposite though. Science is nice.
