Good news: she’s dead now, but the video uses such light language to describe what she did, and even the viewers (usually leftist teens on vice) who left comments knew this

2021-01-15 12:56:11 UTC

reviewing the video ...wondering if the execution a mercy kill, a justice sentence, or burying a witness to powerful abusers

2021-01-15 13:52:50 UTC

What did she do

2021-01-15 13:56:33 UTC

killed a preg mother for her child

2021-01-15 13:56:47 UTC

basically took it alive from the mother's body

2021-01-15 13:57:17 UTC

forced birth without consent nor medical training nor need for it

2021-01-15 13:57:29 UTC

Fucking disgusting

2021-01-15 13:57:52 UTC

in other words..she aborted the mother for the child

2021-01-15 14:10:25 UTC

Thats absolutely horrible

2021-01-15 14:45:23 UTC

To them they only see one muder. Those sick *****

2021-01-15 15:17:20 UTC

it is actually a miracle the baby is alive, she was like a month out from being due before the incident

2021-01-15 15:17:41 UTC

and hey we should be seeing 2 more executions here soon

2021-01-15 15:18:33 UTC

oh wait 1 of them already occurred

2021-01-15 15:55:45 UTC

this is gonna be an unpopular opinion. but if someone is facing life in prison with out the possibility of parole (the level just below death row)... the average yearly cost is between 34.7K and 36.3K just for food/clothes/housing/security, not including other needs like medical. or any emergency response they require.

2021-01-15 15:56:23 UTC

It cost more for them to be on Death row lol

2021-01-15 15:56:24 UTC

why not just execute them? it spares the tax payers from the expense. it spares them from a life in a cage, and it spares the institutions from the workload

2021-01-15 15:57:01 UTC

oh i understand. but why not expedite that process a little bit... just devil's advocate here

2021-01-15 15:57:13 UTC

Cause than there is no due process

2021-01-15 15:57:30 UTC

i dont follow

2021-01-15 15:57:56 UTC

Morals and emotions, its very heart wrenching for someone to take a another life, even if it is justified. There's also the chance that they were wrongly convicted and you kill an innocent individual

2021-01-15 15:58:01 UTC

have they not already been through due process before the conviction?

2021-01-15 15:58:24 UTC

Well let's say you are innocent, but you are seen guilty by the jury. Your execution is in a year.

2021-01-15 15:58:30 UTC

Wouldn't you want to appeal it?

2021-01-15 15:58:49 UTC

Better yet if the appeal works, you would want to send it higher.

2021-01-15 15:59:17 UTC

sure, so then add a statute of limitations type deal.. like they get 5 years to appeal,

2021-01-15 15:59:32 UTC

So you see why it cost more

2021-01-15 15:59:34 UTC

Uh problem, all of these individuals that trump has executed have been on death for at least 15-25 years

2021-01-15 16:00:10 UTC

This last guy trump is executing has been on death row since 2000 for the killing of 3 women

2021-01-15 16:01:24 UTC

And i was wrong on one thing tho, i said that cory johnson (who was executed yesterday) was convicted on killing 10 people during a drug war

2021-01-15 16:01:41 UTC

just seems like an unnecessarily expensive endeavor for taxer payers, if the person is to stay in prison for life

2021-01-15 16:01:47 UTC

with no chance of parole

2021-01-15 16:01:56 UTC

Turns out it was 7 people, with another 4 being killed by other gang members

2021-01-15 16:02:16 UTC

You can also turn this into a moral argument

2021-01-15 16:02:31 UTC

The Death penalty is technically a cruel and unusual punishment

2021-01-15 16:02:39 UTC

But at the same time, it also isn't

2021-01-15 16:02:58 UTC

id argue life in a cage is worse

2021-01-15 16:03:27 UTC

Well it was cruel for the victims of these killers to be murdered in cold blood without any sort of justice

2021-01-15 16:04:06 UTC

I agree .. they try to get on death row on the inside if they got life .. causes extra violence within the prison

2021-01-15 16:04:25 UTC

Excessive fines, but still they would also get the easy way out of life

2021-01-15 16:04:33 UTC

under the death penalty
