Good news: she’s dead now, but the video uses such light language to describe what she did, and even the viewers (usually leftist teens on vice) who left comments knew this
reviewing the video ...wondering if the execution a mercy kill, a justice sentence, or burying a witness to powerful abusers
What did she do
killed a preg mother for her child
basically took it alive from the mother's body
forced birth without consent nor medical training nor need for it
Fucking disgusting
in other words..she aborted the mother for the child
Thats absolutely horrible
To them they only see one muder. Those sick *****
it is actually a miracle the baby is alive, she was like a month out from being due before the incident
and hey we should be seeing 2 more executions here soon
oh wait 1 of them already occurred
this is gonna be an unpopular opinion. but if someone is facing life in prison with out the possibility of parole (the level just below death row)... the average yearly cost is between 34.7K and 36.3K just for food/clothes/housing/security, not including other needs like medical. or any emergency response they require.
It cost more for them to be on Death row lol
why not just execute them? it spares the tax payers from the expense. it spares them from a life in a cage, and it spares the institutions from the workload
oh i understand. but why not expedite that process a little bit... just devil's advocate here
Cause than there is no due process
i dont follow
Morals and emotions, its very heart wrenching for someone to take a another life, even if it is justified. There's also the chance that they were wrongly convicted and you kill an innocent individual
Well let's say you are innocent, but you are seen guilty by the jury. Your execution is in a year.
Wouldn't you want to appeal it?
Better yet if the appeal works, you would want to send it higher.
sure, so then add a statute of limitations type deal.. like they get 5 years to appeal,
So you see why it cost more
Uh problem, all of these individuals that trump has executed have been on death for at least 15-25 years
This last guy trump is executing has been on death row since 2000 for the killing of 3 women
And i was wrong on one thing tho, i said that cory johnson (who was executed yesterday) was convicted on killing 10 people during a drug war
just seems like an unnecessarily expensive endeavor for taxer payers, if the person is to stay in prison for life
with no chance of parole
Turns out it was 7 people, with another 4 being killed by other gang members
You can also turn this into a moral argument
The Death penalty is technically a cruel and unusual punishment
But at the same time, it also isn't
id argue life in a cage is worse
Well it was cruel for the victims of these killers to be murdered in cold blood without any sort of justice
I agree .. they try to get on death row on the inside if they got life .. causes extra violence within the prison
Excessive fines, but still they would also get the easy way out of life
under the death penalty
