Jedi as in star wars?
Here's their website:https://www.templeofthejediorder.org/
It is basically star wars in real life.
Wow, i just opened the .org link. Only in america huh. ๐
My Bible teacher from school wanted us to find some of the craziest churches. He told us some weird religions and this was one of them.
Yup...that definitely fits the bill.
Another interesting one was a group of Christians in Japan, that I forgot the name of, who believed that true followers of Christ (Christians) would not be affected by a nuclear bomb.
Invulnerability (bullets bounce off) or everlasting life in heaven?
Like bomb goes off and they won't be killed or injured.
I think.
Yup, that fits with "weird" alright.
Pretty cool though.
It borders on recklesness too.
Yep.
What was the lesson ur teacher hoped to convey through the assignment?
It was awhile ago but he told us about how he was in Princeton, NJ driving around with his wife and decided to stop at a park. In the park, there were some people asking people the percentage of good people in the world.
If i hadn't already been a christian i probably would have been part of jediism lol
They got answers like 25% or 30 from a crowd of people. They told the crowd that 0% of people were good people. They sounded like protestants but they were scaring the people to join their church.
I believe my teacher wanted us to learn that we should always be careful of what others are preaching.
But like I said before, it was awhile ago so I must not have remembered everything.
*The evil that is in the world almost always comes from ignorance, and good intentions may do as much harm as malevolence if they lack understanding.* โAlbert Camus
Or u might have heard it said in popular culture as: "theย roadย toย hellย isย pavedย withย goodย intentions" ๐
If people want to be gay so be it. If I want a boy friend Iโm fine with it. Why should that be considered a sin when Iโm just bringing happiness to the both of us
There was a man that survived both nukes
I don't know if he's related to the group or not.
It would be funny af if he was
He is dead now, he died of cancer
F.
It is the way of the world to sin, and it should be considered a sin because God said it is
God made it so it is women for men. If it was men with men, Eve wouldn't be there.
U do have good intentions towards ur boyfriend, but ur denying him (and urself) true happyness and the ultimate culmination of love (bringing in a life into the world and raising it up) ...and replacing all that with a "mechanical" act of lust. Just a thought ๐
Love is more than just "friction". ๐ค
1 Corinthians 6:9. Paul lists down people who will not inherit the kingdom, subtly saying what is sin
....and holding everyone to the same standards.
Also chapter 5
Who wolverine? ๐
@White Feather look you are free to do whatever you want but you are not free from the consequences. God has given you free will
I do really love this everytime someone uses animals to justify behaviors and they always go for the apes.
Listen here @White Feather in this debate:
"Omae wa mou shindeiru"
Have you ever noticed people justifying Homosexuality in nature always go for apes? Well lets dicect this logic.
Statement: IF it is found in nature it is natural for it to happen.
Conclusion: Therefore if it is natural for animals then its fine for me too.
First if I was EVER going to give an example showing off some sort of thing IN FAVOR of I would NEVER use a chimp.
It is scientifically been prooved that chimps are the most evil of natures creatures. There was the one case where a pet chimp mauled this one persons guest by biting off her fingers and ripping her face off.
And I already hear you going "Thats just one example!" No.
The main scientist who lived with chimps witness some chimps split into two groups after a leader died. The first one was ruthless and cruel to the brothers but when the brotherrs were together he would back off. Then he came back with some friends and the mauled and killed the brother. But that was not enough. They systematically began to hunt down and kill the other chimps in the most brutal of ways.
Not only did they drink the blood and even as the researcher described "Shook trees and cried out in triumph in the same way that humans might celebrate" doing these acts but they would even canibalize these same chimps and WHILE THEY WERE STILL ALIVE
