Yes, there are good ones to every side.
Like the old adage "Not all women are whores, but all whores are women."
Jokes aside
You are at a crossroads Bluepill.
and you are going to have to come to grips with the fact that what you want and what God wants are different. And your going to have to make a choice one way or the other. You cant sit on the fence on some issues.
That’s not quite a perfect analogy. Because there is a lot of abuse in other denominations as well. It just doesn’t get the same publicity.
As the bible says, you cannot server two people at once, you will always pick one first and then the other.
It also isnt usually covered up by the pastors/leadership of those churches in the same way the catholic church falls in line with whatever the pope says even if he is the one covering.
Not whatever the pope says. The pope has his own opinions. When he speaks infallibly, it is only in a very particular circumstance. And the reason is it more systemic is because the Catholic Church is a bigger “system”. Abuse in smaller autonomous churches are covered up by other means. Like for example not wanting to lose parishioners or other reasons.
Gotta keep them subscribers, can have a scandal right now.
But in my own opinion, this pope is a particularly bad one. There have been bad pipes before, but this is really bad
Right
Good, we agree the management is rotten.
outside of management, they do good things here and there.
It provides the most money to charity annually, and there is really good theology there, if you look at it
I think Bluepill is making his choice one way or another.
And hey if you choose the gay lifestyle, thats fine man. Only you can live your life. And if you pick God, great. But if you think you can take both and serve them at the SAME time, thats the only time we are gonna not be able to agree on things.
Eh except most charities are fronts to siphon funds these days.
Show me a mainstream charity and I will show you where about an 8th of whats given actually makes it to the poor.
Food for the Poor
Heh, ive actually had a friend who had expired cans of food from those charities before when she was down on her luck.
You have friends in Haiti?
Being cynical and skeptical is a necessity whenever you look at people claiming to do good anymore
By there deeds and not their words you will know them and all that.
I’m naturally skeptical too. It has a purpose
There’s always a balance and it’s no reason to give up. Hope is a virtue
None of you a perfect and be natural of man we are sinful. You claim that this sin will rot me at my core when you commit a sin every day. I don’t know why being in bed would change anything. I know I’m not perfect but I don’t know if I want forgiveness. That’s my problem. I want to have a boyfriend but is that sinful

Yes we sin everyday
I ask for the grace of contrition for my sins and for God to reveal the sins I don’t know about.
In every action, there is a grace to be gained or lost.
We are all rotten to the core
But I don’t know if being gay is a sin. It improves my life and I don’t see what’s wrong with it

A romantic relationship does improve your life
I Believe in that
No one is entitled to that
God wants you to give up everything for him if he asks
But why,,,, if I had to kill my brother because god said so I wouldn’t. I don’t want to bringing suffering into the world just because god said so. This goes the same for pleasure. Why should I stop the creation of pleasure just because god said so. No,
I want to leave the world in a better state then I left it in.
If that means loving another man I will.
“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.” This world is the shadow of death, although God is with us. We were not made for this world but for the next. Satan himself tempted Our Lord in the desert. He knows also what temptation feels like. He suffers with you.
Loving God is about listening to him no matter what. Why do you think Abraham was willing to kill his son for God? Because he loved God enough to trust and listen to him.
