Maybe, but unarmed doesn’t make you harmless. By unarmed it typically only refers to knives/swords/guns in the main stream media despite the fact that anything, including your bare hands can be used as a deadly weapon

To an extent, but then the conversation needs to shift to training police on how to effectively respond the mental health or drug issues. That has been neglected for so long but is a massive part of avoidable deaths

For example, Minneapolis has nationally recognized drug treatment facilities and that is exactly why Floyd went there. Minneapolis and other cities who get that kind of traffic need to be held especially accountable for their actions and policing
