frankly in 2016 my family was iffy about trump but my parents voted for him anyways, as the candidate they wanted (Ted Cruz) didnt make it through the runoffs so they were kinda just stuck with Trump, but they've loved the man ever since so its not all bad

This country has been ~50/50 for so long, and half the populous is arguably against him no matter what. With him staying as president, that may not effect the desired change. What if the plan is to simply hit the reset button. Do his best to eliminate the corruption and give the people a chance to start over.
