Well, with 95% media coverage over the past 4 years being negative and focused on peoples emotions. People have been programmed to believe it. It seems many of them truly do and aren't just saying it to be provocative.

It really is. My family is torn and cannot discuss it. The hatred is so visceral.

At the end of the day, most people fall somewhere in the middle. I have always said that if you want to truly impact political change, all you have to do is be civil to the people next to you.

This country has been ~50/50 for so long, and half the populous is arguably against him no matter what. With him staying as president, that may not effect the desired change. What if the plan is to simply hit the reset button. Do his best to eliminate the corruption and give the people a chance to start over.
