There are dozens of reasons that I voted for Biden over Trump, but you would not hear any of them. Trump took the country down the wrong path on so many levels. America first is a failed policy. I think Trump just liked the way it sounded, but didn't really know how to communicate what it meant let alone have a solid platform for it.

If he wanted to do something about China, he would have made private industry pay for the cost of protecting the shipping lanes. There is no way that it is cheaper to make our goods in China, if they had to pay for the policing of the shipping lanes across the Pacific. The American Taxpayer foots that bill for the privilege of moving our manufacturing jobs overseas.
