Alphabet (Google), Microsoft, Amazon, FB, Twitter own or have their claws on pretty much the entire internet. They are the gatekeepers to most content.
And if something threatens their monopoly they work to ban it. We need to use the Sherman Anti-Trust Act
I’m still using the app
Updated info. I wasn’t sure if I believed it until I verified it myself and looked up the actually nye county website. It’s on there actual gop page
Oh no... Q.
I’m not sure what this is to be honest. I figure it may be somewhat legit since it actually comes from the GOP website. Do you own DD everyone. I can’t rule out anything at this point. Good luck
It's Q anon stuff.
Hmm
It makes everything even more unreal!! Makes it hard to believe anything anymore!! I find that letter a big far fetched but the world as we know it is crazy so 🤷♀️
Know what you mean oddly there have been blackouts in several countries.
Just curious because I am not familiar with Q very much...how do you know if it’s Q?
@lullaby2night, you just advanced to level 1!
Yep that is what my hubby said
Pretty easy to spin up your own servers. They specifically choose to give control of their app to Amazon. Not bright considering what they want to do. 😂🤷
Could be a coinkydink
Literally links to Q anon stuff.
Ah
Ahhh okay. Thank you
In hindsight does anyone find it odd Trump was selling tickets to his inauguration
@Shifrah, you just advanced to level 2!
And you have just actually hit on the biggest issue. The actions being taken by Twitter, FB, Google, Apple etc. Are going to drive decent but confused people deeper into the internet. It will create a very large group of people who believe that they are unheard. They will join with other people who feel they are unheard and then it gets worse. They end up even deeper believing that even their paranoia is true in a negative reinforcing loop.
It was some of his post election fundraising 😂🤷
Oh well, I was planning on telling the world to buy a months worth of groceries...well mostly toilet paper and hide in their basement. Lmao 😂
Putting conspiracies in the limelight doesn’t make people feel heard. It lets them consume propaganda all day long.
People didn’t just all at the same time invent qanon. They were told what to think. When that junk was hidden away on the internet the country was better off
I’ve never heard of Qanon before this election!!! Crazy 😜
If you keep someone listening, talking and critically thinking then they won't believe they are unheard. And they will at least feel like they are contributing to a larger conversation. On top of it there are opposing views up here. Down in the depths of the internet are some really dark ideas.
Man this is deep stuff. I just want to make sure I’m loaded up on toilet paper.
Some of these topics are likely similar to what led Washington to issue his very clear warning when he left office.
"However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion." George Washington in his Farewell Address on Saturday, September 17, 1796.
Qanon has been hidden in the depths of the internet for years... It came up for air at the end of the Obama administration.
Ty! The deep state shit is kinda crazy but it makes you stop and think!!!
Mostly because of the way that democrats have attacked conservatives and called them racists, bigots and everything under the sun.
It goes along with the idea if one person calls you a <insert descriptor here> you ignore them. A second person calls you a <insert descriptor here> you start thinking about it, when a 3rd person calls you a <insert descriptor here> then you start acting like it.
It's not that you are necessarily a <insert descriptor here> it's that you are beginning to believe it
Essentially, if you get called something enough times even if you believe it is false then eventually you will believe it anyway. It goes along with the Stockholm Syndrome.
Hey guys
Private company, logical conclusion = A cartel of ISPs can decide your company must pay each of your employees $100,000 or else your internet will be shut off and you cannot conduct business.
@AdvanceManExtraordinaire, you just advanced to level 14!
Would give anything for him to not be schizophrenic
