Only patriots *WILL* not live without freedom

2021-01-16 05:15:00 UTC

what are you talking about

2021-01-16 05:15:07 UTC

Trump isn’t the personification of the “right”, or of “free-market capitalism”, or of “individual liberty”. He’s just the one in charge of the party that is supposed to stand for those things.

2021-01-16 05:15:12 UTC

we've had our freedoms steadily eroded since the founding

2021-01-16 05:15:16 UTC

and no revolution yet

2021-01-16 05:15:28 UTC

No, but the core conservatives rally around him all the same.

2021-01-16 05:16:08 UTC

I was still randing until jan 6

2021-01-16 05:16:49 UTC

i dont care if trump is there or not, but i like the MAGA platform

2021-01-16 05:16:51 UTC

very teddy

2021-01-16 05:17:09 UTC

Its not his policy conservatives are particularly attracted to, its the fact that he's not one of "them".

2021-01-16 05:17:22 UTC

Bear with me for a moment. That’s because no matter what Trump does, the only other option is a Democrat, which is the polar opposite of everything people on the right stand for and support.

2021-01-16 05:17:29 UTC

And that he fights like hell

2021-01-16 05:17:36 UTC

Problem is there is a significant chunk of people that are engaged in Trumpism, rather than conservatism. If you want some healthy criticism, Trump has been overall bad for core conservatives.

2021-01-16 05:17:59 UTC

@Maw in my opinion 'core' conservatives are anything but conservative

2021-01-16 05:18:07 UTC

"It matters not which party controls the government, but whether the government is controlled by the people" - Donald J Trump

2021-01-16 05:18:12 UTC

mainline republicans are just special interest money suckers

2021-01-16 05:18:32 UTC

Okay, correction: He's been bad for the right.

2021-01-16 05:18:33 UTC

ted cruz and rand paul are ok, but i disagree with rand on a lot of things

2021-01-16 05:18:42 UTC

The QAnon stuff has grown out of control.

2021-01-16 05:18:46 UTC

disagree, i think he will help in the long run

2021-01-16 05:18:52 UTC

And it's literally becoming mainstream it looks like.

2021-01-16 05:18:58 UTC

qanon stuff isnt from trump though

2021-01-16 05:19:12 UTC

Aren't there like, 2 congressmen that actually follow that stuff?

2021-01-16 05:19:16 UTC

Truth is, conservatism isnt that popular

2021-01-16 05:19:36 UTC

It's directly related to Trump. It may not be 'his' per se.

2021-01-16 05:19:40 UTC

But it spawned of him.

2021-01-16 05:19:49 UTC

@Maw i seriously believe its a psyop

2021-01-16 05:19:54 UTC

to placate trump supporters

2021-01-16 05:19:57 UTC

The vast majority of the people at that rally didn’t partake in the raid on the Capitol.

Are you really going to allow 100 bad apples out of 300,000(?) change your stance?

2021-01-16 05:20:01 UTC

Why is that a problem

2021-01-16 05:20:02 UTC

and not primary rinos

2021-01-16 05:20:16 UTC

I mean, I'd agree. As I said, it's logically more consistent that Q is Nancy Pelosi than some Trump administration member.

2021-01-16 05:20:27 UTC

i was thinking more mcconnel

2021-01-16 05:20:36 UTC

someoen from the establishment though

2021-01-16 05:20:44 UTC

CIA or fbi

2021-01-16 05:20:45 UTC

Maybe that's why he did the really creepy smile that one time.

2021-01-16 05:20:56 UTC

the q shit does have inside intelligence

2021-01-16 05:21:03 UTC

because it has had important dates on the nose

2021-01-16 05:21:18 UTC

gotta be intelligence agency

2021-01-16 05:21:18 UTC

He’s not that diabolical or sharp to pull something like this off. Or maybe he is.
