No. What this argument was originally about if we should give power to trump. Picture a republic like a pyramid. In the bottom and the biggest is the voters. They decide who is the there representative. Without the will of the people there will be no representatives. The each rely on each other. When some one threatens to make the representatives serve themselves as not take the will of the people. That become an oligarchy not a republic. A republic is a democratic system. Taking out the democratic system would make it an oligarchy not a republic.

But the people chose Trump. We chose Trump. Allowing them to take victory with so much evidence of fraud, now that will make an oligarchy. Placing representatives that the people didn't choose, and using them to erode the people's rights, that will make an oligarchy. Placing Trump, who actually won the election into the seat of power that the people chose him for, will not create an oligarchy.
