Anything to back up why they sould send local police and not federal agents for a federal issue?

Police are known to follow orders regardless of whether or not they are unconstitutional or not and if they go for bans or something similar on a state level (like it usually is) because they can’t ever get anything passed federally it would no doubt be local police

And saying that
1. There coming to take our guns is most likely not going to happen or ever happen thanks in part to the 2nd ammendment

Not many of our gun laws are federal

2. Not all local officers if they used local officers would comply

It’s mostly all state

And police have been shown to be more likely to comply than even military have

True but if guns are being taken away thats a breach of the 2nd Ammendment which would be Federal

There are so many infringements upon the second amendment already

Every single gun law is an infringement

But what specifically infringes on it

Background checks, waiting periods l, magazine limits
