It seems that Canada's police force is secretly changing the classification on guns in a way that gets you 5 years in prison for being caught with one. They've told literally noone, not even retailers, what they've banned.
The poster in this screencap is the lobbyist for canada's largest gun rights group. I think there's quite a story here.
I bet she'd agree to an interview.
