A thought came over me this evening.
A few days back it was reported that a Chinese General declared that 10 or 11 cities which had industrial and Military significance would be saved at all costs. To the detriment of other cities that were under quarantine.
Would China if it decided it was losing complete control of their country, launch a first strike against the United States. Perhaps first by spreading their own virus here and second followed by a preemptive nuclear strike.

Technically they've been at war with us for several decades now.
IE: if they're going to lose they will take down everything with them
