Like what
Like my life is movies and I just realized how I cry when I see starry skies in good movies only to just realize that it's literally outside, we just can't see it because we have light pollution
All these beach scenes and romantic sunsets that can literally be viewed from anywhere in the world. Or seeing the stars, or walking in a thick forest
Like...why don't we just go?
We just watch it happen on tv and never truly experience it
It’s very sad
Would you rather live in a city for the rest of your life or have to watch Kamala Harris every day for the rest your life
Part of me can hear the voice in my head going "but you love films" but at the same time...
*What happened to books?*
books no longer exist, duh
Books are the best thing man ever created
But for real, my attention span is dead. I can't bring myself to read anymore and I'm realizing it's probably because we are so conditioned to screens
And then I'm like...*I'm part of the problem*
i can still read for hours lol
You can fit multiple movies and fuller scenes in a book than in a film
#DeepthoughtswithDas aka r/im14andthisisdeep
I felt that
Like how are you gonna get the same feeling from watching two people on screen versus knowing what the mc is thinking and feeling while it’s happening
That's true
I can't literally focus on work anymore or have any type of motivation for school crap
And part of me feels guilty since we've come so far technologically
im going back to a normal unplugged schedule when i get moved lol
Its the system, seriously it needs to change
same, like i'm so burnt out on school it's hard to focus or be motivated
ill play video games at night, and work the farm during the day.
Rejecting technology feels so wrong and like it's snubbing the inventors and all the smart people out there but at the same time, I don't need to be good at video games or to be a rocket scientist
If my eyes could show my soul, everyone would cry as they see me smile
technically a homestead its not large enough to provide for more than us
my garbage ass gets kicked back to the lobby everytime i play a game
and the rest of the land gets rented out to pay the taxes lol
Taxes
Everyone's best friend!
Tax lol
Has anyone actually had any experience homesteading?
Taxes are unconstitutional
Especially the democrats, they love giving taxes
property taxes on 300 acres is a bit much. but by renting out most of it, it covers the taxes and any other bills
I have experience with plant farming, and chicken raising and keeping
because im not going to actually be able to go totally off grid, i like the internet too much
for gaming
Not necessarily as full time as homesteading but I know how to get started
