It's a mix between ios and android. It has the ios layout but you don't need to log into anything if you don't want to and you can still download apps from google play if you choose you just don't need to have google watching over you at all times
Location data, the text of everything in those docs, emails, calender, what websites you go to, how often you go to them, your personal preferences, your favorite color, your pictures uploaded automatically to Google Photos, are you getting the point yet?
Under disguise of course
I now identify as a liberal, too.
the sheer number of programs that copy your clipboard on your phone....
especially news media apps
And what do they do with that data besides making their apps more convient
Sell it to companies. How do you think they make money?
Wait..
You aren't the customer. You're the product.
Yes
*When something is free, you’re the product.*
I mean
its meant to be convenient
I use Apple Maps now so does that make the situation better
and if you trust companies to not compile and sell your data, welp, ignorance is bliss
Also if you have the option on your phone even though google keyboard is better than the rest change it to a different one like Samsung keyboard because google logs everything you type
Oh fuck
Oh lord
Not to mention if you have any kind of smart home stuff, that's even more data.
you're the chicken in the pen being fed, and someones picking up the eggs
I had an Amazon echo in my room for the longest time
So I was definitely being fried
ok
3 years
4 years
Maybe even 4 I don’t remember
Lol
Samsung probably logs what you type too but they are probably less inclined to sell your data since on google you are the product but with samsung you are the customer
maybe even 5
Samsung <:salut:730846445732888630>
some people are ok with that arrangement, you're consenting to an exchange of services
same son
As a brand is pretty good
who cares
samsung farms it too, don't be naive lol
Not to mention they overprice their phones like crazy for fewer features.
That's what I said
They're using basically the Apple business model.
