Old hardware is so impressive to me I sware!

2019-03-06 01:20:40 UTC

Like I had gotten a lenovo y710 with an i5-7200u and a gtx 920mx for 900 dollars new, but you can find a fatter looking laptop but more beafy specs AND YOU CAN UPGRADE THE PARTS TO THE FAT BITCH!

2019-03-06 01:21:10 UTC

This is the yoga

2019-03-06 01:22:23 UTC

And the other is a dell Prescision with an i7 and quadro k1000m graphics the cpu is 20% faster and gpu is 7% and it only goes for 230usd used and 400usd new. As stated yes you can swap out the parts I mean GPU and CPU!

2019-03-06 01:22:53 UTC

Only problem is it is beafy

2019-03-06 01:24:00 UTC

But it has a BUNCH of ports and a disk drive

2019-03-06 01:29:55 UTC

You can find models with k1100m and k2000m graphics and higher

2019-03-06 01:30:14 UTC

But you can upgrade to a GPU that has the same speed as a gtx 1050 for 150 dollars

2019-03-06 01:31:14 UTC

That GPU is the K5000m or K5100m

2019-03-06 01:31:37 UTC

But do note this is already cheaper than a normal desktop with the same specs

2019-03-06 01:31:56 UTC

As this comes with a display keep that in mind

2019-03-06 01:34:51 UTC
2019-03-06 01:37:19 UTC

Also the display in most of these models are full 1080p!

2019-03-06 04:03:16 UTC

Here is the DELL Precision used but in near perfect condition

2019-03-06 07:24:37 UTC

Forgot to mention the computer has NFC

2019-03-06 16:45:51 UTC

@gauravtee What if you build the system while in the U.S. and then take it back with you fully assembled?

2019-03-06 17:18:16 UTC

I'll be taxed at the airport for having 2 computers. Because I'll obviously have my laptop with me

2019-03-06 17:18:48 UTC

I could do more research into this but yeah I'm about right

2019-03-06 18:05:31 UTC

@Deleted User Ever worked with a Pentium Overdrive chip?

2019-03-06 18:06:32 UTC

@gauravtee Been a few decades since I've travelled internationally, and never as an adult. Does Customs really want to know about every last piece of luggage you bring back with you?

2019-03-06 18:10:55 UTC

"a few decades" the fuck how old are you?

2019-03-06 18:11:15 UTC

and yes. Absolutely.

2019-03-06 18:13:45 UTC

@gauravtee Hint: I was 13 when I saw Bon Jovi opening for Ratt in the summer of 1985. Ratt was the better, though ultimately less commercially successful, band.

2019-03-06 18:15:10 UTC

that's not a hint nigga you literally gave me the year

2019-03-06 18:15:16 UTC

all you're making me do is some arithmetic

2019-03-06 18:15:58 UTC

I'm offended. Don't call me nigga, call me jigaboo instead.

2019-03-06 18:18:02 UTC

@gauravtee It was a mere hint for those who don't have a superpower-by-2020 superintellect.

2019-03-06 18:19:06 UTC

so you're 47 years old??????????

2019-03-06 18:19:54 UTC

@gauravtee Yeah, as of late last year.

2019-03-06 18:20:10 UTC

i'm in disbelief

2019-03-06 21:26:27 UTC

@Deadly_Ramon No I have not worked with a Pentium overdrive chip.

2019-03-06 21:26:40 UTC

I have messed around with pentium 2s and 4s

2019-03-06 22:13:44 UTC

@Deleted User The Pentium Overdrive predates those. It was an upgrade for motherboards with 486 and first generation Pentium sockets, though the benefit was reduced for 486 computers because of their lower data bus sizes.
