They found a method to launch games from usb now so I'm all for it
I don't recommend one of those you can make a mini computer and get better specs and be able to play more games. If anything I would recommend an Nvidia shield TV
They are cheap now but they can play a good bit of games

and has way more you can do with it
It has actual games as well with the geforce console
Like they have their own games with google play. They have half life 1 and 2, portal, ark, and a bunch of games you can play. Not to mention you can get a streaming service that is a onetime payment of 3 dollars that turns the console into a computer
And you can run ps1 and a whole bunch of emulators on it
Without rooting the device
here is a list of games that can be played on it as well
You will find one of these about the same price as a ps classic
And as stated geforce now is another amazing option. As you can play PC games on this system with only a one time payment of 3 dollars
This console can also play ps2 and wii!
