@Gaijincruza you do in your company, too ?
Not everyone but yeah
9-5 is minimum salary jobs
@conker. Many people taking the train into the city
Going in now
8 and 10 car joints all packed to the brim
I mean, I was annoyed with the south of germany, where they're working like 40h+ a week ...
and not having much free time for "personal life"
Coming in between 1 and 5 minutes
Yeah, they some hard charging mo'fuckas here man
Yeah isn't Japan just corporate slavery
these people really need more home office
I respect the hustle, but saddened at the toll its taking nonetheless
imagine how much money / time is wasted just by them commuting
1 hr from here to central tokyo
Social conformity in JP is off the charts right? @Jack Mehoff
Imo that's about as anti-individual as it gets
Yeah, I was commenting on how well they do when it comes to reading people. Its almost intuitive
?
It tends to be more collective here as well
They can read between the lines with people well here. Better than I can even dream of.
I made a fella miss the train and said sorry but he was still mad even though he said its ok
Kek. He's probably cursing you at a shrine as we speak
<:420:480186122325065728>
@Jack Mehoff how did you manage that ? xD
did you step on him? 😛
Another one was there is an expectation to give up your seat to old people. I do ask, and they say no, but it still felt bad. Mind you I had need of the seat after walking all day.
yeah they seem to value old people ... though idk why 😛
@conker. I was leaving the train and he was running and we crossed paths from a blind corner. I delayed him just long enough to miss the closing doors and have to wait.
It sounds like all the people there are essentially bitchy women who refuse to admit what they actually want or feel.
In one sense, it seems that way, although I think the Japanese would write me off as someone who cant tead the air
I mean it's also his fault, at least 50%
more like 75%+
I can't get over the direction they're heading. Such a beautiful country, dieing slowly
Beautiful pop culture as well
In America, they also play indirect, but sometimes you get someone that tells it to you straight. More so than here, definitely
Most people I know of will tell it to you straight if you ask them and they confirm you won't retaliate
Yeah
Over here, there are expectations people should know.
I mean the trains are going there like every 10 min or whatever ?
A no does not mean no all the time
?!
