Look at the way he interacts with technology. Technology took up a lot of the functions that humans use to perform with each other. And he embraced that by getting an AI waifu. Just like how gen z is embracing tech. Not to mention he spends a good part of the film trying to find out if he is special or not. And by the end he realises that he isnt special. A lot of gen z has that ''im special mentality''
