Yeah
why is wood working so damn peaceful to watch?
Hello
@Mr.Black because connect with past, whe people use wood for everething and bring you safety and satisfaction to build whatever you want, I suppose
maybe
Because watching someone create something is primally satisfying
It's also cool watching metal working.
true
💍
@Xychotic. I love metal working
Bigstackd channel
I also watched Tasty to see them make cakes and shit.
This one thot was like, why do you watch that? For the sheer appreciation of the workmanship, bitch.
Not only that, you can actually learn some elements of the craft just watching.
Because men working on a trade is the most humbling thing
It's part of how I became a great cook. When watching Food Network, I wasn't just wishing I could have that, I was carefully observing *how* they got their results for things I could keep for my own cooking.
Exactly, when i watched blacksmithing channels i learned how to make tampered steel for lunch
Yum
Tampered steel.
Yes
Unlike tempered steel, which is very strong.
Blood red steel
No no
Tampered steel is a convenient treat.
Tampered
Exactly
Then you have pampered steel. You dont want that shit
It's like rebar, mixed with salsa
Spoiled steel tho, got to keep that motherfucker in line
You're not wrong
Beat it like my meat that owes me money
Or how MJ did it
Xy, did you ever embarrass a housewife by being a better cook?
huh...
I don't know that they ever had the self awareness to be embarassed.
I have accidentally embarrassed my uncle when my cousin asked him why he couldn't cook anywhere near as well as I could.
I wanna eat some Gator Jerky
I was quick to remind the kid that I was a poor punk living in an apartment with a trash job and my uncle was making mad money being a sales manager at a land rover and actually owns a house so clearly he spent his time learning those skills and I had to make do with making whatever I could get my hands on palatable.
