@MoonCore Aloha snackbar.
@Revel Nobody needs to walk on eggshells and it’s not like we expect disagreements to always be respectful. But there were ***10 pages*** of that kid doing nothing but bashing on everyone else.
The only person he liked was the PUA fucktard, who was also banned (for being a PUA fucktard).
All I can say is that since we know there is a chance of minor children here, I am not suggesting we self censor, but that we look inside ourselves, as men, and we start working on how to best communicate in a way that the lads can have something to look up to and be able to survive this god awful mess we're in that takes place between men and women.
I am going to adjust.
Personally.
Because the last thing I wanna do is steer a kid wrong in an already horribly declining society.
The lad needs to be open to listen and shut up first
@Deleted User Don’t censor yourself for people who aren’t even listening to what you have to say, in the first place.
I just remember being 15 is all.
I hear you though, man.
Youre right
When i was 15 i was even dumber
We're all in a lot of pain, and if 14 year olds are in pain about it, that means they've been exposed to adult shit even earlier than I was.
Which just makes me sad.
Still he needs to learn there are consequences for your actiona
And hardens my heart and soul unfortunately a little more.
@Deleted User I remember it, too, and I also remember the sense of adults mitigating their behavior around me. It lent itself to the impression they didn’t take me seriously.
Actions*
@Five, Seven, and Two Haha yes.
I remember that too.
The only thing I will be doing is being more mindful on how I vent frustration.
Not saying things I don't really mean.
Boys don't need to see or hear that shit from me. They already see and hear it enough because that kid was doing it here over and over again talking about all kinds of shit.
It's a symptom, the stuff I was talking about earlier.
He was also emotional
Which didnt help anything
I think that’s something to generally assess in how you interact with others, as a rule. Rarely do you ever say things you don’t mean, you just wish you hadn’t said them.
It's okay. It's after 1am east coast, he's still a school kid.
I know for a fact he was projecting.
Because that's what boys his age do when they are in pain about stuff.
All the way into their late teens and early twenties.
I did it. Soldiers I mentored in the Army did it.
And boys are losing access to good leaders, actual men, every single day.
I’ve also worked with boys and young men in clinics and the like since I was in college; I can guarantee you, that kid was insincere and not in the sort of pain you think.
He did seem like a smart ass
@Five, Seven, and Two Well I know he wasn't down and out.
I'll give you that.
