I would have posted his video but I'm not sure if I have permission.

2019-03-19 17:25:59 UTC

Thanks. I'll check it out later.

@Five, Seven, and Two sorry was afk for a bit. Not sure, think I'm pretty much smackdab in the middle of downtown San Francisco.

@Ironbard I'd second Shadow's advice for Google (I haven't been there in 6 years), but ocean side wasn't bad. Just don't go over the east bridge. That's Oakland. If you're the wrong color, you'll be going back home in a pine box.

Could also check out Alcatraz. I'm nervous about telling you to head north over the Golden Gate to the marine center or any of the parks... heard a lot of stories about hobo camps.

As a resident of CA, it’s great to visit. Living here is hell

2019-03-19 17:44:59 UTC

It’s basically New York with nicer weather

2019-03-19 17:46:07 UTC

@KenneticEnergy is it as bad as I’ve heard?

2019-03-19 17:46:51 UTC

It's getting worse

2019-03-19 17:47:05 UTC

@Deleted User yeah they won’t show you the actual effects of the economic policies here. All the nice touristy areas are sheltered from the slums of places like Oakland and such

2019-03-19 17:47:24 UTC

But if you visit SF watch out for needles and literal shit on the streets. I kid you not

2019-03-19 17:47:38 UTC

And zombie-like homeless people

2019-03-19 17:47:40 UTC

@KenneticEnergy how old are you? When did it start getting like this

2019-03-19 17:47:54 UTC

CA?

2019-03-19 17:47:59 UTC

I’m 25 and I’ve lived here my whole life @Deleted User

2019-03-19 17:48:06 UTC

And, remember, CA is an obligation to flee state.

2019-03-19 17:48:30 UTC

@KenneticEnergy McCarthy was right!

2019-03-19 17:48:42 UTC

*oh CA is commiefornia*

2019-03-19 17:48:49 UTC

When did it start getting like this? Well.. you could say that it was a slow decline that started in the 80s/90s

2019-03-19 17:49:02 UTC

Dude was right about a lot of things. ... way more than I wanted him to be.

2019-03-19 17:49:26 UTC

All the crazy boomers of the 60s and 70s gained political power in CA and worked their way into schools

2019-03-19 17:49:41 UTC

My entire education here has been nothing but propaganda

2019-03-19 17:49:52 UTC
2019-03-19 17:50:38 UTC

I used to love America growing up (I’m from the UK) but I must admit I fell victim to the propaganda even here. I would still move there even if the collapse is coming

2019-03-19 17:50:40 UTC

I was lucky that I avoided the worst of it.

2019-03-19 17:50:49 UTC

You have two classes here @Deleted User the people who are hella rich and own plantation wineries (cause they use illegals as slaves basically)

2019-03-19 17:51:12 UTC

And the poor/barely getting by, who can barely afford rent and food. If that

2019-03-19 17:51:30 UTC

Most of the poor have decided to say “fuck it” and just live on the street tbh

2019-03-19 17:51:47 UTC

@KenneticEnergy the weathers nice enough for it I suppose

2019-03-19 17:52:27 UTC

It is.

2019-03-19 17:52:29 UTC

Like I’m not kidding @Deleted User where I grew up, you had mansions flanked by like.. tiny shack houses from the 60s in neighborhoods right near each other

2019-03-19 17:52:34 UTC

And that's a big problem.

2019-03-19 17:52:40 UTC

The difference in wealth was insane

2019-03-19 17:53:01 UTC

Fucking taxes

2019-03-19 17:53:14 UTC

I was really lucky and grew up middle class. We weren’t rich but I had it good

2019-03-19 17:53:16 UTC

Chapagne socialists and poor empoverished commies

2019-03-19 17:53:26 UTC

Like finacially poor

2019-03-19 17:54:06 UTC

I had a good, dear friend who lived in the mansion neighborhood near my suburb. His dad owned 2 Chevy dealerships, and it’s 2008

Housing bubble bursts and GM takes a nosedive

2019-03-19 17:54:31 UTC

Uh oh
