2019-03-22 07:19:26 UTC

2019-03-22 07:25:50 UTC

I need to buy a car but I don't have the required amount of money and my lack of transportation is negatively affecting my work attendance. Should I take out a loan and pay it back asap, or should I try my best to just save up and buy one?

2019-03-22 07:26:35 UTC

Personally i think loans are devil dollars and would never take one for any reason

2019-03-22 07:26:40 UTC

that being said a dudes gotta work

2019-03-22 07:26:43 UTC

2019-03-22 07:27:05 UTC

any chance of getting a $1000 shitshow you can drive to death?

2019-03-22 07:27:24 UTC

I'd love to actually but haven't seen any

2019-03-22 07:28:02 UTC

yeah, that sucks. Depending on where you are it can be hard

2019-03-22 07:28:56 UTC

I'm in Nebraska so it's not too expensive. But I'm in a small town of under 200 so all the work is in the next city over haha

2019-03-22 07:30:06 UTC

If you are planning on getting a loan you really need to plan out paying it off so you dont drown in the debt though

2019-03-22 07:30:31 UTC

you know yourself the best, if you think theres any chance you won't be able to pay it it's really not worth it

2019-03-22 07:31:26 UTC

I usually don't plan for loan payments. I just go fucking apeshit on it and have it paid off in a couple years max. But I'd rather not take one out if I don't have to

2019-03-22 07:32:03 UTC

Yeah that's the best way to do it

2019-03-22 07:32:28 UTC

i've seen so many careless people fall behind and then it just swallows them

2019-03-22 07:33:22 UTC

Most people have no concept if the fact that they actually have to pay it back

2019-03-22 07:34:24 UTC

"W-w-wait.... You mean that wasn't free money!?"

2019-03-22 07:34:39 UTC

That's a problem for future me

2019-03-22 07:35:12 UTC

the thing that gets most people is the interest it ramps up to

2019-03-22 07:35:45 UTC

oh for sure i can pay it back in 5 years, whoops i didnt pay it back and now im paying half my paycheck in interest

2019-03-22 07:43:25 UTC

Lol yeah fuck that

2019-03-22 07:43:49 UTC

If you absolutely need to take it out, pay it off asap before too much interest accrues

2019-03-22 07:48:52 UTC

Im not gonna lie, i was actually pretty damn hyped when i heard that there was going to be a sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade. Now though....... not so much 😦
>The game is definitely taking political stances on what we think are right and wrong
>The developer is taking a refreshing approach of weaving politics into the game, both in terms of narrative and gameplay.
>Clooney says it’s central to Bloodlines 2 that the writers are actively taking a political stance in this sequel

>senior writer Cara Ellison
>Ellison [...] worked as a narrative consultant on 2016’s Dishonored 2.
>β€œIt’s fifteen years later and things have changed,” Mitsoda said. β€œWe have to be very sensitive about how we handle things like mental illness and that was a concern for us and for Paradox, in how we can make a mature story but if we do anything, we do our homework and make sure that we are punching up and not punching down.”
>β€œIt was very of its time,” Ellison said of the first game. β€œIt approached certain topics differently. How we look at stuff has matured since then.”
