Oh, that means my ex was a gen x.
@Xychotic I feel your pain my friend
Gen X was 61 to 81
Yep, her parents i despise with a passion.
Boomers.
@KenneticEnergy my mom was not a common boomer
I don't hate all boomers, but i hate her parents. Lol.
#notall
Oh thats rare, both my parents were textbook boomers
BoOmErS
It is weird.
But both my parents were black sheep.
ill probs still date some chicks similar to hhh but just break off once the honeymoon phase is out
Every boomer i have met so far and gotten to know were shit people, selfish, over competent and egotistical cry babies. But that might just be because most of them are my relatives and i come from a shit family. The kind of family where my aunt was younger than me and my real grandfather is unknown because my dad's mom slept around a lot. Lmfao.
As long as you take the proper precautions and never give them priority, it's within mgtow scope. @Nsiem
I remeber when I was a kid, I didn't use spotify or pandora but used slacker radio for music. My dad got all pissed because he didn't like the name "slacker". Like...ffs, then just ignore it? He would associate me with being a slacker because I listened to a station with the name slacker in it
Fuckwad is putting it lightly, boomers are fucking retarded. Most are anyways
That's spectacularly shabby thinking.
@KenneticEnergy. Lmfao. Really? Guess you shouldn't listen to deathmetal around him by that logic. He might think you're metallic death!
My mom was an alcoholic and my dad smoked like 6 packs a day. Needless to say they were both always on edge and I definitely stayed out of the house the majority of my childhood cause it was so toxic
Once I turned 18 I got tf out of there and never looked back. My parents split and honestly, I dont even feel bad. Maybe thats kinda f-ed up of me, but literally people like that have no business having kids
@PatrickLux666 I learned a lot though, and yeah it has
You’re a better person for leaving
You have an example of what not to be like
Im just glad I saw the realities of marriage when I was younger, it took me awhile longer to go completely solo in life, but Im 25 and have no plans to ever settle down or marry. Fuck that noise
I don't think you're fucked up man. It's perfectly reasonable for someone in your position to even feel pleasure to see people like that split. I doubt either parent was nice to you growing up so it's reasonable to expect you to not care that they had bad things happen to them after you left.
I think you are.
@PatrickLux666 Im honestly surprised I turned out alright. I think in those situations you either break, or emerge much, much stronger for it
Hey slacker 😉
I had no business turning out the way I did.
I'm still fucked up
I know why I turned out like this
@KenneticEnergy: True, i can understand. When i spoke to the last decent shrink about my past. He simply said he was shocked i was even breathing, let alone sane enough to even talk about it so casually. And it was just shit i was comfortable talking about. Lol. 21 now, was 14 or so then.
I find fulfillment in working in healthcare, and helping people that way. Making good money and taking solace in the simple pleasures in life. Its nice to be able to kick back and have a cold one, even if the rest of the world is burning. You know that you're alright
@PatrickLux666 shrinks are BS, same with psychology and psychiatry in general
I stared into the abyss............when it stared back.....we both laughed<:yay:523032349563158528>
Theyre a waste of money too
Yeah, it's why i stay away from them. Never had a good experience when being around one long term. Lol.
Glad you came out alright in the end though, like when youve been through hell and youre able to overcome that, theres not a whole lot in life that can really fuck with you in the same way @PatrickLux666
@Nsiem Life only has the destination you give it. All roads will eventually lead to death. Just take whichever route you prefer to get there. The destination is the route you're taking, death is merely the outcome
