read. whats the point of having more mental capabilities over women if you never use it
You shouldn't count reading garbage...
the act of reading itself is good for comprehension skills. reading some shitty dialogue in a game doesnt count as reading
It's waste of time, nothing else...
Never said it does.
@conker cant say its a waste of time if you dont even read lol
Dude I read a lot of stuff...
the same can be applied to shitty fiction, i used to read a bunch of star wars novels
and all the 40k books i bought, basically garbage with big shoulder pads
@Happy Humble Hermit you read Ben counters books didnt you
Because there are much better 40k writers
And no, Dan Abnett isnt one of them - not anymore
I did read the foundation cycle, LOTR, etc
And many of the scifi short stories
Totally liked them
But Tbh it's like @Rhunespire said
Then you get disappointed by reality 😜
I don't have time to read shit. I've got a backlog of multiple hundreds of games and anime
Plus, I don't care.
you'll get bored of it
Indeed
Bored of gaming?
yeah
Unlikely, but I'll tell you when I do.
im making a game and ive made games before i love gaming and i got bored of gaming. maybe i just hit a rut
Sounds like it
Over saturation
Hey, I hit ruts too. But I've never full blown STOPPED
love multiplayer games and coop games with my buddy tho but single player games now are meh. i enjoyed re2 remake
There isn't even any literature that'd suit my interests anyway.
how can you say that if you dont even read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
do you read manga at least
im really liking ajiin
I read manga. But I don't know if that counts as literature
i mean its something. idc if you dont read
yeah you sort of grow out of gaming.
maybe that will change, when we have super cool halo in VR & omni treadmills ...
I've read a fair few books outside of school.
but reading novels is for me nothing more and nothing less than wasting time with some computergames ...
when halo mcc comes out on steam im uninstalling everything else. but yeah you do outgrow hobbies. still love games but i dont spend as much time as i used to when i was younger
oh yeah right, mcc comes finally to the pc
Trust me, I'm not outgrowing gaming.
actually ms did a great job there, not releasing it for the pc,
I didn't buy the next xbox bc I thought it was a ripoff back then
and never bought a console afterwards
@[chase dreams] when i was your age i wanted to be a professional game developer lol. things change
wahahahaha
And here you are developing a game.
