One time i was chased by an Ostrich after jogging in the park few months ago

probably the closest i ever came to death

so i guess thats one thing when you gotta look out for if your exercising somewhere with 0 other ppl

At any point did you think of turning around and squaring up with the ostrich

so funny things i knew Ostrich lived in the general area i was visiting

so i pre emptively did some research on them

and basically applied what i knew to create as much distance from it as possible and give it the slip

basically i circled around the Ostrich and tried to disorient and confuse it

protip = never stand in front of or behind an Ostrich

never try to outrun it

do not fight it

remember its very low IQ

but can kill you instantly in one kick

also its one of those animals known for hostility to humans

so i essentially kept moving in a zig zag and unpredictable pattern, whenever the Ostrich got too close i again circled it, while i was circling it i threw a rock in a random direction to distract

does it taste like chickin?

I imagine it has a rougher texture but tastes similiar

eventually i got near some large trees used them to give it the slip

its basically as dumb as a 7 ft tall chicken

exploit that and you'll survive

I guess it was some kind of animal sanctuary but also adjoint to a park

usually Ostrich are kept in their area when ppl come to the park

those things are also dangerous and chase you for a while

used to watch Nat Geo, discovery a lot as a kid

so in a way i am satiating the curiosity of my child hood
