I've only ever done brazilian jiu jitsu for 2 years.
taekwondo and judo
Oh nice!
Judo is sick.
Never done taekwondo.
the taekwondo school i signed up for originated from korean temples and army training sites
in fact the master is a monk from there
and we would go to korea to train at the temple he trained at for a couple of weeks yearly
if you could afford it of course
@ResolvingParadox13 Check out Cole Robinson, Thomas DeLauer, Jeff Nippard and AthleanX. Keto isn't actually that great when you need to perform heavy lifts or HIIT.
it ws cool
holy shit that sounds interesting.
@shadowlessnexus Damn. Amazing opportunity.
never went to korea tho.it was expensive
and i was like 13- 19
I've tried going to the gym and shit but I didn't really like it.
Martial Arts though, seems really fun.
if you go into it. dont do it for fun
Do you have a roommate or friend to tag along with? @ResolvingParadox13
@ResolvingParadox13 Don't rely on passion (fun) or motivation. Rely on discipline and just commit to a full year whatever you plan. Do it at least for one year solid and commit 100% of yourself to it.
you have to kick straight up over your head
Damn.
it took me like 5 promotion tests
alot of people stall out at that point and never progress
there were like 600 students for every black belt canada wide.. nobody could get their red belt because of that dammed kick
i would spend entire sessions just doing the kick over and over
This the board I broke when I finally did it.
Wow!
Ahri would be proud
I don't have any roomates, I'm on my own thankfullyu
y'all remember those plastic redoable boards
And god damn that sounds like a fun adventure to go on
we didnt use those
oh yea no they did for like the little kids
yeah when I was a wee lad those were awesome
cause they only took a few pounds to break and you could do them again and again
my instructors all signed the board thats how i know which one it is lol
but thats on the other side
I wish I could still do that but I got injuries that stopped me from using my left leg for much
would you have gone pro if not for your bum knee?
