*OOF*
Yet these same people had drug addictions.
She also took my dads cod games too lol
My grandmother thinks me playing these games I play will turn me into some sort of killer.
She's never picked up a controller in her life.
If the child is not bleeding after using it, the parents shouldn't be dumping cards or video games at the trash or especially burning them.
My dad played Unreal and Halo and Doom back in the day and he knows that shit doesn't turn you into a killer.
I got away with video games because I always played strategy games. There was killing but I always was more excited about the economics and business/politics aspect. War was just the candy for me 😉
wow.
Do you remember any of those games? @Deleted User
What are their names?
i remember a relative said cod was like owning a real gun and freaked out about it. i laughed at her
@Sparky Age of Empires, Battle for Middle Earth, Command and Conquer, Total War, Red Alert
StarCraft
like in her face. i was like 16
Yeah people are stupid.
@Deleted User for the swarm right
I actually liked Terran, lol.
**for the swarm. RIGHT?**
Anyone who believes that games can turn you into some twisted killer needs to be smacked in the fucking head.
I must really be stupid because i played Call of Duty rather than strategic games.
you just like shooters
Same with these dumb cunts who think loli hentai turns you into a pedophile.
@shadowlessnexus haha
@shadowlessnexus SURE!
Am not really sure what the actual reason for getting Call of Duty is but I assume that it was due to popularity.
thats right
Which is something am kinda ashamed of.
There is nothing wrong with only playing shooters or whatever else that takes your fancy.
Thinking that *media x* turns you into the what that media portrays is pretty fucking insulting.
People are dumb, but they're not that dumb.
The only media I've truly enjoyed has been educational videos/books/blogs or strategy video games. Everything else is pretty boring.
Am saying that because Call of Duty does not really teach you anything whereas in strategic games(the actual good ones) you need to think ahead about which decision you will choose to do.
Look, i don't remember playing any strategic games so am likely talking from my ass.
You are.
Cod did teach strategy. Not the same kind scenario. Instead of planning economy and unit placement it made you think about your load out, your movement, and being aware of and taking advantage of the situation around you
I do agree strategic games will give you some skillsets in management and efficiency overall compared to shooters/story/etc.
