Mirror's edge has a major problem with actually keeping consistent in how it's meant to be played.

2019-06-14 07:31:35 UTC

There's no room for margin of error. Especially in areas where you climb pipes or across bars

2019-06-14 07:31:52 UTC

damn ... every time I read that word, I have to think of tfms quote: consistence is a tool of the patriarchy ! 😛

2019-06-14 07:32:16 UTC

You make the slightest fuck up and you lose all your momentum, fucking you over and getting you killed.

2019-06-14 07:32:47 UTC

yeah, right ... when there is a part of the level, which I have to repeat like 5-10 times,
I may do that once ...
the second time, the game gets uninstalled

2019-06-14 07:32:59 UTC

Just like Spider-Man

2019-06-14 07:33:02 UTC

so is it worse than Halo 2 legendary?

2019-06-14 07:33:09 UTC

yes

2019-06-14 07:33:15 UTC

bc you can't shoot your enemies

2019-06-14 07:33:19 UTC

@Ju$T b0Rg1Ka Halo 2 isn't broken on all difficulties.

2019-06-14 07:33:26 UTC

true

2019-06-14 07:33:37 UTC

but the right way to play it is legendary

2019-06-14 07:33:41 UTC

Conker, the game's not meant to be played like a shooter.

2019-06-14 07:34:02 UTC

~~right~~ only

2019-06-14 07:34:02 UTC

That's not a flaw with the game, that's a flaw with you.

2019-06-14 07:34:09 UTC

I know, but I'm edgy now 🤣 😛

2019-06-14 07:34:42 UTC

hey, I played some of the halo 1 & 2 on legendary by myself,
it's possible ...
but gets boring after a while, bc you can't always run around like "gigachad" masterchief

2019-06-14 07:35:08 UTC

Mirror's Edge gets boring because the running isn't even fun.

2019-06-14 07:35:16 UTC

I could not play more than 10 min of mirrors edge it gave me a headache and I love fps games

2019-06-14 07:35:31 UTC

see ... it's a flaw with the game xD

2019-06-14 07:35:43 UTC

lol, then imagine it playing in VR

2019-06-14 07:35:44 UTC

I watched pewdiepie play the 2nd when he actually played games

2019-06-14 07:35:59 UTC

I think ima buy a VR in 2 or 3 weeks

2019-06-14 07:36:11 UTC

cool, which one ?

2019-06-14 07:36:32 UTC

and are you sure ? bc some guys told me in 6 months or so, some company will release a new one

2019-06-14 07:36:37 UTC

An oculus probably, debating a go or the full thing

2019-06-14 07:36:39 UTC

Mirror's Edge's design is completely buggered because of how easily you can fuck up.

2019-06-14 07:36:56 UTC

It's like a 5/10 game.

2019-06-14 07:37:06 UTC

HTC Pro or something like that ...
cyotee is waiting for it, too

2019-06-14 07:37:18 UTC

Not because it's mediocre, but it shifts from being great to awful all the way through

2019-06-14 07:37:19 UTC

There's always something new coming out

2019-06-14 07:37:42 UTC

@[chase dreams] see, so it's still crappy after all 😛

2019-06-14 07:37:55 UTC

5/10 isn't crappy.

2019-06-14 07:38:38 UTC

5/10 is ... probably fun for a very specific audience, in the best case

2019-06-14 07:39:03 UTC

I now rate games on whether I finish them or not

2019-06-14 07:39:08 UTC

indeed

2019-06-14 07:39:10 UTC

Worth a play or not

2019-06-14 07:39:33 UTC

like the 1 to 10 attractiveness scale sooner or later evolved into wb or wnb 🤣

2019-06-14 07:39:36 UTC

I wanted to start a series like half in the bag for games

2019-06-14 07:41:04 UTC

hmm, I saw that occulus had different models, but I never bothered to look at them,
I found them cool in the beginning, but I hated it, that they got bought by facebook,
that's when they were dead for me

2019-06-14 07:42:19 UTC

I can probably understand it from the business side,
but still, felt like they betrayed their supporters
bc the supporters basically held all the risk by crowdfunding (instead of some VC firm)
and facebook got a real bargain there
