It was legitimately challenging and ended in amazing Hunter fights. You know, actually *fun*. Which means it doesn’t make as much money and clearly what’s popular with the normies is what’s most important.

2019-06-22 13:15:51 UTC

I mean, yeah.

2019-06-22 13:16:11 UTC

I thought the Hunter was just always around. I never got to the end of a round.

2019-06-22 13:16:29 UTC

I think I got into one Survival game and the other guys all d/ced before we got anywhere.

2019-06-22 13:17:44 UTC

But the idea was pretty damn good. Between being injured and having that critical blizzard... man... layers of challenge and management. Like a real survival scenario.

2019-06-22 13:18:24 UTC

The Division 2, I dunno. I didn't enjoy it as much. The story is pretty weak. They confused "nifty location" with "engaging story"

2019-06-22 13:20:04 UTC

Goddamn that sounds awesome

2019-06-22 13:20:49 UTC

Right?!

2019-06-22 13:21:18 UTC

Part of it was finding clothes so you don't freeze and starting and finding fires to warm up again.

2019-06-22 13:21:30 UTC

I think medicine was required to deal with your sepsis.

2019-06-22 13:22:07 UTC

Hunters didn’t spawn until you arrived at an extraction point and fired a flare, but there were Survival-specific world bosses wandering around that would fuck you up if you weren’t watching for your gear.

2019-06-22 13:22:55 UTC

What game is this?

2019-06-22 13:23:02 UTC

Meds could extend your sepsis time from 1 hr to almost 2, I believe, and yeah, clothes let you stay out in the elements longer without a heat source or fleeing inside.

2019-06-22 13:23:12 UTC

The Division, Survival mode.

2019-06-22 13:23:25 UTC

Oh okay

2019-06-22 13:23:57 UTC

But you build resistance to the meds along the way, too.

2019-06-22 13:24:00 UTC

Also had to manage food and water, which would limit your health regen and vision if you were too hungry or thirsty.

2019-06-22 13:24:06 UTC

Such a cool concept.

2019-06-22 13:24:19 UTC

Yeah, to the point you were pounding them to stay alive at the end. Lol

2019-06-22 13:24:57 UTC

If someone made a spin-off without the medicine requirement, that’d probably be my new #1 game.

2019-06-22 13:25:22 UTC

I wouldn't mind the medicine requirement during certain scenarios.

2019-06-22 13:26:25 UTC

How's the escape plan, PB?

2019-06-22 13:26:48 UTC

Did anyone catch the point when EA said Lootboxes are suprise mechanics?

2019-06-22 13:27:14 UTC

And the escape plan is still under construction but thanks for asking

2019-06-22 13:27:17 UTC

Yes

2019-06-22 13:27:29 UTC

I hope EA gets sanctioned

2019-06-22 13:28:07 UTC

So i hack them and i call it Suprise Viewing and it should be fine right?

2019-06-22 13:28:13 UTC

I'm fine with lootboxes as long as they have no impact on gameplay.

2019-06-22 13:28:29 UTC

Because I have 0 interest in getting them.

2019-06-22 13:28:56 UTC

Lootboxes should be cosmetic only or better idea just let us by the skins individually

2019-06-22 13:29:09 UTC

I say both.

2019-06-22 13:29:11 UTC

I guess Valves lootboxes are just fine

2019-06-22 13:29:14 UTC

You can buy the skin or win the skin.

2019-06-22 13:29:25 UTC

^

2019-06-22 13:29:35 UTC

Valve does a bad job at lootboxes

2019-06-22 13:30:17 UTC

But theyre just cosmetics so no problem

2019-06-22 13:31:05 UTC

Also, project Borealis is coming

2019-06-22 13:32:31 UTC

I do wish If HL3 is coming. Then we could at keast have a weapon system similar to Doom2016

2019-06-22 13:37:05 UTC

That wont happen.

2019-06-22 13:38:06 UTC

HL3? or the Doom 2016 system?

2019-06-22 13:38:30 UTC

HL3
