Nobody seemed to want to play, though.
You know, between it being a DLC and not being masturbatory wompa-stomping, I guess most people just weren't interested.
It was legitimately challenging and ended in amazing Hunter fights. You know, actually *fun*. Which means it doesn’t make as much money and clearly what’s popular with the normies is what’s most important.
I mean, yeah.
I thought the Hunter was just always around. I never got to the end of a round.
I think I got into one Survival game and the other guys all d/ced before we got anywhere.
But the idea was pretty damn good. Between being injured and having that critical blizzard... man... layers of challenge and management. Like a real survival scenario.
The Division 2, I dunno. I didn't enjoy it as much. The story is pretty weak. They confused "nifty location" with "engaging story"
Goddamn that sounds awesome
Right?!
Part of it was finding clothes so you don't freeze and starting and finding fires to warm up again.
I think medicine was required to deal with your sepsis.
Hunters didn’t spawn until you arrived at an extraction point and fired a flare, but there were Survival-specific world bosses wandering around that would fuck you up if you weren’t watching for your gear.
What game is this?
Meds could extend your sepsis time from 1 hr to almost 2, I believe, and yeah, clothes let you stay out in the elements longer without a heat source or fleeing inside.
The Division, Survival mode.
Oh okay
But you build resistance to the meds along the way, too.
Also had to manage food and water, which would limit your health regen and vision if you were too hungry or thirsty.
Such a cool concept.
If someone made a spin-off without the medicine requirement, that’d probably be my new #1 game.
I wouldn't mind the medicine requirement during certain scenarios.
How's the escape plan, PB?
Did anyone catch the point when EA said Lootboxes are suprise mechanics?
And the escape plan is still under construction but thanks for asking
Yes
I hope EA gets sanctioned
So i hack them and i call it Suprise Viewing and it should be fine right?
I'm fine with lootboxes as long as they have no impact on gameplay.
Because I have 0 interest in getting them.
Lootboxes should be cosmetic only or better idea just let us by the skins individually
I say both.
I guess Valves lootboxes are just fine
You can buy the skin or win the skin.
^
Valve does a bad job at lootboxes
But theyre just cosmetics so no problem
Also, project Borealis is coming
I do wish If HL3 is coming. Then we could at keast have a weapon system similar to Doom2016
That wont happen.
