*Exactly*
I'm just more pissed off that she made the kids cry
Enh, everything makes kids cry.
You know, like having your life threatened
Nothing big.
I've seen 15 year old girls cry and call the cops because their dad raised his voice slightly
Exactly.
She obviously couldn't handle even a geriatric.
He's late 40's
Not like he's that old, jesus.
What. Ever.
Lol
She scratched him a bit, but he couldn't hit her back, because you know, law and shit.
Exactly.
There's nothing quite like getting brutally red pilled
I'mma play Minecraft to take the edge off a bit.
Also even when my immediate family (Grandparents) said I needed to get a gf, I find it annoying. But this kind of shit....
They're probably just thinking that things will be easier for you if you have a girl
But it's quite the opposite, and you should count yourself lucky you know that
Nevertheless, seems like they have good intentions. I mean I doubt they have malicious intentions
I'll take the annoying calls to have a social life over staying on crime infested streets and a manic mom any day.
Good thinking.
I only think their pestering for me to get a gf may be tied to them pitying me for my autism.
Because it only seems to be me that they do that with.
There's nothing quite like realizing your family's compassion is actually nothing more than pity

Learn to pronounce
noun
noun: compassion; plural noun: compassions
sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.
Uh... guys... pity and compassion are pretty close.
Huh
I guess I was trying to say kindness, there's a difference between that and pity
I know what you mean. There's a certain seeming condescension when someone pities you.
Yeah
It's like, "Fuck you. Help or gtfo. At this point, just gtfo."
Because pity tends to be along the lines of someone looking down their nose at an unfortunate, saying some platitude, and then moving on.
Yeah, that's the message I'm getting from them, albeit not directly
Wow I get warning signs coming into here now NSFW๐คช
@LPA FreeNeko (Hermit's Youth)๐บ๐ธ In my experience it's never direct. It's something you notice over time, especially with friends and family. Because you're more likely to assume that they are sincere.
It's also kind of hurtful to your pride.
They wouldn't pity you if they thought you could handle it.
So, in a sense, being pitied is a proclamation that they think you are weak.
But, really, it's about framing. How are you going to interpret this?
