Also their economy is super connected
Also a bit selfish. A bit too selfish.
The Corporations of China, now those are the real powerhouses that I'm legitimately worried about
Why
Chinese governments come and go, but their money can go anywhere.
Yeah?
In fact, Corporate Superpower is my bet.
Thats not really a thing though
Either that, or another dark age, I dunno
Also accounting for American companies and other of course.
Again, not the most likely, but not entirely impossible.
I think China will likely see some unrest and a bad economy but ultimately be fine
Well for their sake, I'd hope they actually learn from their history, and take care of the more suspicious figures within their government to avoid another damn Warlord era.
Their government can't function split up. They'd have no money
Deficit spending does that
All this talk of China though is reminding me of the ongoing East Turkistan protests.
Also China has a lot of debt too.
It would be like if Chicago split off from the rest of the US.
It would be impossible
So I mean.....
China would enforce their inflation
The Chinese people are way more united than the American
Theres a reason they always say "We Chinese" to refer to themselves
They say that now.
But what happens when the money goes away? Who's to stop them from saying "Fuck You, this will be my China!", "NO, MY CHINA!", "NO, MY CHINA!" and so on.
The government requires money to function. The debt doesn't cause the money to go away, it only causes more of a deficit
The inflation rate rises and doesn't decrease dependency on a central bank
The central bank is the body people go to in order to save their ass during an economic downturn
No no no, what I mean is people within the government fighting for a regime of their own.
For instance, if a warlord said "Fuck you this is mine now" They'd lose all of their investment and tax dollars
Their plot of land would essentially be useless
But what happens if there are too many warlords?
They get shot
You can't really rebel under a central bank
At least not that way
*cries in Tianmen Square*
Central banks mean that the change has to come from bottom up not top down
And the Chinese military means that those protestors will be very unhappy
Also they still need to address other things, like East Turkistan, and Tibet.
yeah
