ok

2020-09-26 04:49:16 UTC

cool

2020-09-26 04:49:24 UTC

lol i was just wondering

2020-09-26 04:50:21 UTC

But if something terrible happed to Trump and Pence together, Pelosi (heaven forbid!) would become President, then choose a VP.

2020-09-26 04:51:21 UTC

nooo

2020-09-26 04:51:31 UTC

dont scare me like that lmao

2020-09-26 04:52:08 UTC

It's how it's set up. President, VP, Speaker of the House...then it goes downhill faster. LOL

2020-09-26 04:52:42 UTC

actually the order of alignment is pres, vp, senate then congress in seat arraignments as to who's next in line

2020-09-26 04:53:12 UTC

head of senate is 3rd, speaker is 4th

2020-09-26 04:53:52 UTC

Huh. I thought it was the other way. Ah, well.

2020-09-26 04:53:53 UTC

so unless somebody rewritten the laws of usa civics

2020-09-26 04:54:48 UTC

Huh. Better tell Google. LOL

2020-09-26 04:56:26 UTC

*shrugs* Anyways, Unless there's a major catastrophe, it's not something to worry about.

2020-09-26 05:01:19 UTC

wikipedia lies

2020-09-26 05:01:22 UTC

google lies

2020-09-26 05:01:27 UTC

snopes lies

2020-09-26 05:01:48 UTC

check .gov sites or constitutional law libraries

2020-09-26 05:02:31 UTC

wiki should only be used for entertainment/movies/tv/games/fiction

2020-09-26 05:05:08 UTC

Care to supply a link?

2020-09-26 05:07:15 UTC

Looking at the Library of Congress right now, but they're dragging their heels.

2020-09-26 05:11:33 UTC

https://www.loc.gov/item/lcwaN0015401/ A .gov site, Library of Congress, Speaker of the House is third in succession.

2020-09-26 05:12:59 UTC

well ya..i did double check..but pelosi is invalid unless she can get renominated for speaker on jan 3rd

2020-09-26 05:13:44 UTC

if she loses the re-election...she's also invalid, then it goes to the next in line

2020-09-26 05:13:50 UTC

So for right now, tonight, this second, she's it.

2020-09-26 05:13:52 UTC

yeah wiki lied and said alan jackson was dead a couple weeks ago

2020-09-26 05:14:39 UTC

ya but it's hardly ever both pres and vp are in the same location to go bye-bye to make pelosi new pres

2020-09-26 05:14:39 UTC

Anyways, President, VP, Speaker of the House. I'm gonna go do something else.

2020-09-26 05:15:21 UTC

well head of senate is next if pelosi loses the election, which makes her position of speaker of the house invalid

2020-09-26 05:15:42 UTC

unless the head of the senate is on an election yr cycle

2020-09-26 05:15:46 UTC

as well

2020-09-26 05:16:08 UTC

then it goes to the next in line of succession ...which is sec of state

2020-09-26 05:16:53 UTC

so we go from 4 elected, to about 10 or so appointed

2020-09-26 06:29:59 UTC

For the line of succession after Pelosi, who would be the successor? Mitch McConnell?

2020-09-26 13:47:18 UTC

2020-09-26 13:48:48 UTC

Not McConnell, the president pro tempore, who is currently Chuck Grassley

2020-09-26 17:09:13 UTC

I guess this would change once we get congressional term limits. :/

2020-09-27 17:41:25 UTC
2020-09-27 17:42:41 UTC

the only term limits i want is elected official term limits of 12yrs ...as in 12yrs total to any and all elected positions, no careers in office

2020-09-27 17:43:34 UTC

so if u elected as mayor of ur city for 6yrs, then run for senator and get elected for 6yrs ..ur total time is used up at the end of ur first term as senator
