With the vote where rural oregon wanted to join Idaho. Why isn't this more common? Like New York's vote is only with New York City with the rest of the state having no say. California has around 5 million republicans with no say. Why don't we allow rurual republican counties join other republican states to have a voice. This would even the playing field giving more electoral votes to the now more populated republican states. We can enact a law that every 100 or so years we have a vote on changing state borders. Kinda like in Africa with all the country borders NOT following ethnic or idea borders, they tend to class and not have any say in government. Only bordering counties to a state would have voting to join another state rights so as counties in the middle of a state arn't owned by another causeing mass confusion. and a state with less than a certain population would not be aloud to have it's counties leave. Let the demecrats burn whats left of their states to the ground and leave the republican counties out of it.
