What’s with the majority of people here not wanting to take the vaccine

My mom is allergic to most vaccines. I have also never had a flu shot.

Its not like any of us will be able to get it anytime soon anyways, im sure the first doses will go to elites first, then healthcare, then elderly and vulnerable

We haven't even had long enough to see if the vaccine will work over time yet. As C-19 is a virus, it mutates, so the vaccine would only work for one strain. It'll probs end up that you'll need to take it every year like the flu shot. (Influenza is also a virus, which is why one shot doesn't make you immune forever.)

+C-19 has a survival rate of 99.9%

It's likely the vaccine would be available to the general public in the spring

I've taken that vaccine twice and the first time I had a very bad reaction

I almost fainted

A few other kids took it and some kids ended up getting paralyzed

But this was around 2015

I took the hpv vaccine too went numb in my left side was really sick to my stomach and dizzy almost fainted only lasted 5 min

I've heard about a lot of bad reactions to the HPV vaccine

I don't know if it has been taken off market

The HPV vaccine is stupid and I'm not sleeping around but there's the argument of "well you don't know and your child could be sleeping around so better safe than sorry"
