I fell and my knee made a big crack and bent in an awkward direction. My first thoughts were, “Did I break my knee?” and “That didn’t hurt that bad.” It was just a twisted knee and nothing major... I then stood up and tried to walk. I ended up passing out from the pain and seizing in my little sister’s arms for around 10 seconds. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow to get X-rays. I’m laying awake scared out of my mind, thinking about how I might have ruined parts of my life and why this means for the rest of my life. Will I forever deal with this injury? Will I lose my scholarship and have to drop out of school? This is the most difficult time of my life, having just dealt with the most impactful death in my life, financial troubles, and now this. I can’t help but think God is trying to tell me something.
