i found out early on ...don't keep the shit to save on the main drive
got about 12tb not part of the system os
and never index the stuff u have on spare drives...last thing u want is an os based list of everything u have
I had to wipe everything on this computer, and completely forgot to back it up about 2 months ago onto my external drive when I was doing so

That’s honestly my greatest fear so I always back up everything before doing anything major at all to my operating system
They are for a house, and I paid an architect to design a home for myself, and bid it out. He sent me the only copy and apparently deleted his like a dildo.

It was forced with the newest windows update.... it was like going from Windows 7 to windows 8.1 for me
i normally just make backups of my bills paid...with conformation info numbers...so they can't claim i didn't pay them

not for him, because he was SUPPOSED to keep a copy for 2 years, and it has only been 5 months
normally any professional will keep backups of backups of paying projects
in his case it was an honest mistake
Or at least store them online somewhere
he put it on an old drive, and cleared it out
