buy a spare hdd...to keep copies of what u recovered ...just incase and keep it offline til construction is completed or something happens to ur current copy of it

Dank... I have legit 800tb of HDD's and another 1,200 TB of back ups

2tb or less, or 4tb or higher...never buy the 3tb's

lol.... 4 tb..... I think the smalles HDD I have is 8

I run my own business with 3 remaining branches out of 4.... 1 got burned to the ground in Minneapolis

The current computer I am working on is the "tiny" rig....

my current pc has 7-9yr old tech in it

I have 6 computers all around my office that I had to throw together at a cabin in Knife River MN that I bought for my parents

I upgrade all 6 computers with yearly overhauls

I only have one computer because I’m young and poor, but I only need one for my job and hobbies

The "big" rig has 3 RTX titans in it, and is meant for 8k rendering of 3d models

Evenlyn never feel bad about what hardware you have

got a few bins for old parts out back.....mostly scrap stuff

when it comes to PC only 1 thing matters, and that is saying "I built it myself"

I love my computer even though the screen is busted and my favorite program decided to stop working

if you can say that truthfully you have earned my respect 🙂

anything considered too old for me to use, my bro converts into media boxes

I’m better at software than hardware

and anything too old for him to use, becomes scrap

I accidentally fried my old phone when attempting to replace the screen, so....

I love PC building 🙂 I do it as a "fun" side gig 🙂

how in the hell can u fry ur phone with a screen replacement

I have a lot of friends who do that and I’m intrigued every time they talk about it

I make custom PC cases by hand, and usually just charge material costs 🙂

I forgot to disconnect the battery

At least I’m assuming that was the cause because it would never turn back on again

And the last time I replaced a phone screen I disconnected the battery and it worked just fine when I reconnected it

My gaming pc is the one I am on right now, I also do a fair bit of professional stuff on it, but it has the Ryzen 9 3900X 32GB 3600-DDR4 ram, 2 x 2tb M.2, 4 4tb SSD, 3 12TB HDD, a RTX 2080ti, and custom water cooling loops with full custom case that I made 😄

it is for gaming and media storage 🙂

lots of family pictures, videos, and such

what sucks is that the memes were on the 2 M.2 drives that were wiped

the rest of the drives were fine, but a few files were corrupted on the M.2's
