This is important because since then he has been harping about how he meant for that vampire to be a recurring villain in the campaign and he can't even complain much, because he is the one who technically defeated it. Apparently he meant for us to get the vampire to a specific level of health and then have her run on her turn, but because he criticalled on his turn, that didn't happen. It's kind of hilarious.
