Indeed
Like with the housing bubble
A female one with a gender studies degree
Diversity hire
The housing bubble happened because the gov started to guarantee the loans
@conker. Just another excuse to have the government administer that program too.
Yeah definitely
housing bubble gonna crash bc milleanials dont buy houses anyways
flipping houses big dumb
Same bs like in the eu
@CappyK. They also pressured bank motherfuckers to loan to people that should not be getting the money
Wealth secrets of the 1%, covers this
Yup
Well kinda
The pressure wasn't direct
@conker. They crash an industry and get up in it
Get up in dat ass like colon cancer
The question is still, then who gets all this money? I mean people basically enslave themselves
But where does the money land? In the universities?
Yeah. Then it finances commies
The idea behind guaranteeing home loans was basically that home buying is a sign of good economic growth, ergo, let's make more home buying happen.
The problem is that it's a symptom of a strong economy, not a driver.
So, the shortsighted idea of assuming a causal relationship lead a bunch of people only hoping for growth to treat it like a driver.
notice, they did the same with college
College grads earn more money, ergo, send more people to college
Except it's not college grads, its smart sends conscientious people tend to go to college and then apply that knowledge to learn more. College isn't the driver, it's a force multiplier.
problem is, when you send Stacey, Chad, and Tyrone to college, you get tree problem with automation: garbage in, garbage out.
But *faster*
