The reason Truman won is because of high turnout from his supporters.
Let’s be honest, 99% of people who voted for trump will again, whereas there’s a decent deal (like maybe 2 or 3%) of Hillary supporters who now support trump. AND factor in the enthusiasm, regardless of wether you like Hillary or not, she atleast had some enthusiasm (being the first woman candidate or whatever) so even though they’d probably vote biden, they may not have the energy to actively go out and vote.
Keep those factors in mind
And this is anecdotal, but despite being from a liberal hell hole (Massachusetts) I’ve met quite a few Hillary supporters who will this time vote for trump (including my mother) yet haven’t met one person who voted trump who’s voting biden this time.
