It wasnโt loading but the video was Zedโs latest.
I was bored so Iโm taking historical political parties and taking the political compass test putting down the answers that theyโd likely give.
Federalist Party, authoritarian right
Democratic-Republicans are Libertarian Right
National Republicans are authoritarian right but more right wing and less authoritarian than the Federalists
Yeah, Donald Trump used to be a Democrat but he left around 2009.
Eagles fan, lol
The polls can always be terribly wrong, even worse than in 2016. At least in 2016, they guessed the popular vote correctly, even if they incorrectly guessed the winner. In 1948, incumbent President Harry Truman ran against Thomas Dewey. Truman was somewhat unpopular and the polls predicted a victory for Dewey. The Chicago Daily Tribune was so confident that they prematurely printed the newspaper shown above. However, Truman was able to win the election, and he is pictured here with the newspaper. I donโt want to be arrogant and overconfident, and I still think itโs too close to call, but itโs just to show the polls can be wrong.
The reason Truman won is because of high turnout from his supporters.
